The foundation · Institution setup
Your name on it, your people in it, and each teacher in their own classes.
Your logo on the sign-in page, only the modules you use, and a whole class imported from a spreadsheet.
- Teachers see only their classes. Owners and admins see everything.
- No student email needed. Print a log-in sheet instead.
- A second factor for admins. At every sign-in.
Names and figures on this page are illustrative.

Getting started
From sign-up to your first test
- 01
Your sign-in page
Your institution’s name, logo and colour on the page your students and staff sign in from.
- 02
Bring your people in
Import students from a spreadsheet. Students without email get a username and password, printed on a sheet you hand out in class.
- 03
Your first test
Draft a test from a chapter you teach, have your teachers approve its questions, and schedule it for a class.
What IT and admin get
Set up once, and it holds
Teachers see only their classes
Rosters, grades and attendance for the classes they teach, and no one else’s. Owners and admins see the whole institution.
No email needed
Import a class from Excel or CSV and print a log-in sheet with each student’s username and password.
A second factor for admins
Email, phone or username with a password, or Google, Microsoft or LinkedIn; admins also need an authenticator app or an email code.
One account, two campuses
One person can belong to several institutions with a single account, such as a student at two campuses.
How your data is kept separate
Each institution’s data is kept apart from every other’s, in the application and with checks in the database, and admin accounts require a second factor at every sign-in.

Questions IT and admin teams ask
Do our students need email addresses?
No. Import them from a spreadsheet and each student gets a username and password, printed on a log-in sheet you can hand out in class.
Can teachers only see their own classes?
Yes. A teacher sees the classes they teach, and the rosters, grades and attendance for those classes only. Admins and owners see the whole institution.
Can we sign in with Google or Microsoft?
Yes: Google, Microsoft and LinkedIn, alongside email, phone or username with a password. Enterprise single sign-on through SAML is not available today.
Does it connect to our existing LMS?
Not today. TestMySkills runs your assessments, coursework and report cards itself, rather than inside another learning platform.
Can we run the admin panel under our own brand?
Your sign-in page carries your name, logo and colour. The admin panel itself is TestMySkills-branded.
We have two campuses. Do students need two accounts?
No. One account can belong to more than one institution.
